Green building and energy resource conservation are more important now than ever. TO address this matter, we have added Nucor to our metal building line. Nucor Building Systems is one of the nation's larger recyclers of wasted steel. With a new plant in Utah, this gives SSI a second world class, pre-engineered building to offer clients. In the green buildings industry we also have Energy Panel Systems, or EPS, on our list of suppliers as a resource for SIPS, Structural Insulated Panels, panels. These panels are high performance, rigid, foam insulation that's bonded to oriented strand board for a manageable labor saving building unit. It is projected that as labor sources become more scarce and energy costs rise, SIPS will become the preferred building system. Owners of our SIPS built homes report surprisingly minimal heating costs, even in Wyoming winters.
